The Joke

Rorschach: I heard a joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world.

Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up."
Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor... I am Pagliacci."

Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

Edward Blake: Once you realize what a joke everything is, being the Comedian is the only thing that makes sense.

I started a Joke - The Bee Gees

I started a joke
Which started the whole world crying
But I didn't see
That the joke was on me, oh no

I started to cry
Which started the whole world laughing
Oh, if I'd only seen
That the joke was on me

I looked at the skies
Running my hands over my eyes
And I fell out of bed
Hurting my head from things that I said

'Till I finally died
Which started the whole world living
Oh, if I'd only seen that the joke was on me

I looked at the skies
Running my hands
Over my eyes
And I fell out of bed
Hurting my head from things that I said

'Till I finally died
Which started the whole world living
Oh if I'd only seen that the joke was on me
Oh no! that the joke was on me
Oh...

Yo -

I visit your site once in a while..Mainly to find out about good songs that you've stumbled upon..Mainly the ones from non-mainstream movies that I would've otherwise missed..So.. Keep doing what you are doing..

'Kooda varuviya' song, to me, is still in 'okay' category..But the other one is very good..

These songs stood out for me recently -
1) Aedho seigirai from Vaamanan
2) Manasellam, un uyir from Kulir 100 degrees
3) July madhathil & Night's still young from Muthirai
4) Mudhal Kadhal theme from Varnam.. This sounds so much like Raja.

Check it out..

Thanx a bunch for the comment Vish..I actually used to listen to way more songs b4 than now. lately I'm researching more newer artists and in the due course missin many gems. Vaalmiki I heard jus coz it was Ilayaraja. But found only 2 to be good vintage style, of which as u said 1 is kinda okay.

I'm gonna check out the ones u've mentioned right away...
